Xanthan gum contains stable chemical components that are harmless to the human body and have a caring effect on human skin. Xanthan gum is extremely stable in both acidity and alkalinity, allowing it to neutralize the alkalinity of skin care products (water’s ability to withstand acidification) as well as the acidity of the skin, hence preventing allergies. Xanthan gum can replace moisture in the skin, preventing moisture loss and wrinkles.
